Exhibition SPOT ON WIEN at Tokyo Designers' Week
For 5 days “SPOT ON WIEN – Flashing Austrian Design and Music“ was under Tokyo's spotlights as the biggest contemporary contribution to the Austria-Japan-Year 2009, established on the occasion of 140 years of diplomatic relations between both countries. As a guest country and official partner of 100% Design Tokyo, Vienna and Austria showed up with a 'spot-on' selection of today's creativity, including product and furniture design, fashion, electronic music and dance performances.

The second landing of PureAustrianDesign followed two weeks after the Prague edition in the exhibition hall of the Catalan designers‘ organisation FAD right in the centre of Barcelona. Conceived as an individual exhibition this time, it lasted nearly 3 weeks and registered over 4,000 visitors. The show widely exceeded the expectations of the hosts at FAD.

The oversized bubble, jointly produced by the austrian furniture industry and JULAND BarcelonaVienna, served as a showroom to present furniture design by Austrian companies to the Viennese public.
