SPOT ON Wien Shooting "A Journey of Dance" in Tokyo's Club Super Deluxe![]() Under the title “A Journey of Dance“, the 3rd SPOT ON WIEN Shooting in Tokyo brought two modern dance performances to Club Super Deluxe. Sticking to the motto “Dance”, electronic live music and by DJ vibes filled the dancefloor of this club based in Roppongi, Tokyo.
“A Journey of Dance“ started with ONE HOUR STANDING FOR, an art performance by the choreographers Michikazu Matsune and David Subal who combine video recordings with live performing and represent a paradoxical statement about movement through standing still. Next came the dance performance LOOK LOOK designed by Krõõt Juurak and Anne Juren, a choreographic transcription of the creative process at play in the world of fashion performed by Krõõt Juurak herself and Magdalena Chowaniec. Then electronic music heralded the second part of the night. Elektro Guzzi offered one of the trio’s magic live sets, as well as Dorian Concept, featuring his breathtaking one-man-beatmaker live show. Next came the beat-driven electro-entertainers Ogris Debris, before the DJs BNCKD and 7 All the shows and performances were backed with visuals by the Vienna-based design studio strukt specially created for this night.
